The following is a summary of Division I news from the week of January 20-23.

•         Georgia women’s basketball coach Andy Landers earned his 800th career victory in a career that included 30 years at Georgia and four seasons at Roane State Community College in Tennessee. He is ninth on the list of women’s basketball coaches with the most NCAA victories.

•         Michigan is considering adding a new basketball practice facility for its men’s and women’s teams. The $23.3 million building, planned to adjoin the Crisler Arena, will be funded with donations and athletics dollars.

•         The Division I Women’s Soccer Committee is looking for new members after a legislated regional realignment. Conferences must nominate representatives through the NCAA’s online process.
