Stephanie Lawrence Yelton

West Florida chose Stephanie Lawrence Yeltonto lead its women’s basketball program as head coach. Yelton was most recently an assistant at Boston College. She has 16 years of coaching experience overall, including five years as Charleston Southern’s head coach.

Other transactions

Athletics directors – Shenandoah appointed Brian Wigley as its interim director of athletics. Wigley is currently the Faculty Athletics Representative at the institution.

Coaches

Men’s basketball – Binghamton relieved Mark Macon from his duties as head men’s basketball coach. Macon was at the helm since 2009 … Keith Salscheider is Maranatha Baptist’s new head men’s basketball coach. Salscheider spent last season as an assistant at Edgewood … Southern Mississippi named Donnie Tyndall head men’s basketball coach. Tyndall comes from Morehead State, where he was head coach for the last six seasons.

Men’s basketball assistants – Louisville added Kareem Richardson and Doug Davenport to its men’s basketball staff while promoting Andre McGee from program assistant to director of basketball operations. Richardson will be an assistant, while Davenport serves as director of video operations … Josh Loeffler is the new director of basketball operations at Rutgers. Loeffler was the top assistant at Lafayette for the past four seasons … Tulsa selected Wendell Moore as an assistant men’s basketball coach. Moore comes from UMKC, where he was an assistant for four seasons.

Men’s and women’s lacrosse – Washington and Jefferson head men’s lacrosse coach Chad Moore resigned after nine seasons with the program.

Conferences

The Collegiate Water Polo Association hired Alex Lourido as its director of multimedia services.

Milestones

Aurora head softball coach Mike McKenzie earned his 300th career victory with the institution. McKenzie is in his ninth season as head coach and has 474 wins in his 15 years as a collegiate head coach.
