Brad Bertani

Ohio State named Brad Bertani assistant athletics director for compliance. Bertani comes from Tennessee, where he was the associate athletics director for compliance since 2004. He has also worked at Marshall, the NCAA national office and Detroit.

Other transactions

Athletics directors – Western Kentucky appointed Todd Stewart as its interim director of athletics. Stewart has been with the institution since 2008, moving into the senior associate athletic director role in 2010.

Coaches

Men’s basketball – Duquesne relieved Ron Everhart of his duties as head men’s basketball coach. Everhart coached the Dukes for six seasons … Nebraska hired Tim Miles as its head basketball coach. Miles spent the last five seasons as Colorado State’s head coach and has been a head coach for 17 seasons overall.

Women’s basketball – Natasha Adair is College of Charleston’s new head women’s basketball coach. Adair was an assistant at Wake Forest the last nine years, becoming associate head coach in 2007.

Women’s basketball assistants – Lindy Hatfield is leaving her position as Howard Payne’s associate head women’s basketball coach to pursue other opportunities outside of the sport. Hatfield has been with the program since 2006.

Men’s and women’s volleyball – Eureka chose Michelle Reef to lead its women’s volleyball program as head coach. Reef has extensive high school and club coaching experience … Niagara named Dottie Porch head women’s volleyball coach. Porch comes from Pittsburgh, where she was an assistant for one season.
