Tim Hall

UMKC and director of athletics Tim Hall agreed to a three-year contract extension, keeping him with the institution through 2016. Hall has held the role since 2007. Prior to working at UMKC, Hall spent time at Kent State, Eastern Kentucky and Youngstown State.

Coaches

Men’s basketball – Idaho State named Bill Evans head men’s basketball coach. Evans has coached for 33 years overall, namely as Southern Utah’s head coach from 1992-2007.

Football assistants – Montana State hired Toby Neinas as its secondary coach. Neinas served as the defensive coordinator at New Mexico last season.

Women’s basketball – Western Kentucky relieved head women’s basketball coach Mary Taylor Cowles of her duties.

Milestones

Jacksonville head baseball coach Terry Alexander earned his 700th career win on Wednesday. Alexander has been with the program for 33 years, the last 22 as head coach.
