Danny Hall

Georgia Tech extended the contract of head baseball coach Danny Hall by five years, keeping him with the Yellow Jackets through 2016. Hall is in his 25th season as a collegiate head coach, 19 of which have been with Georgia Tech. Hall was head coach at Kent State for six years previously.

Men’s basketball – Eastern Illinois will not renew the contract of head men’s basketball coach Mike Miller. Miller coached the Panthers for seven seasons.

Football assistants – Iowa named Greg Davis offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach. Davis has 33 years of college coaching experience and was most recently at Texas from 1998-2010 … Stephen F. Austin added Kevin Carberry to its football coaching staff as defensive ends coach. Carberry was a graduate assistant at Kansas the last three years.

Milestones

Florida Southern head men’s basketball coach Linc Darner won his 200th career game. Darner is in his sixth season at Florida Southern and previously coached Ashland for four years.
