St. Andrew’s Presbyterian named Frederick Parlow its new head women’s soccer coach. Parlow was an assistant women’s soccer coach at Mount Olive most recently. He also has experience coaching at the club level both in the United States and abroad.

Tom Watts

Men’s basketball – Air Force relieved head men’s basketball coach Jeff Reynolds of his duties. Reynolds was currently in his fifth season coaching the Falcons. Associate head coach Dave Pilipovich will serve as coach throughout the remainder of the season.

Football – Ohio Wesleyan chose Tom Watts to lead its football program as head coach. Watts comes from Baldwin-Wallace, where he was an assistant the last three seasons.

Football assistants – Iowa elevated defensive backs coach Phil Parker to defensive coordinator. Parker had served in his previous role with the Hawkeyes since 1999. Additionally, offensive line coach Reese Morgan moves to the defensive line, while linebackers coach Darrell Wilson will take over the secondary.

Men’s and women’s golf – St. Andrew’s Presbyterian head men’s and women’s golf coach Lisa Becka resigned after four-plus seasons with the programs.

Men’s and women’s soccer – Lipscomb hired Kevin O’Brien as its new head women’s soccer coach. O’Brien was previously at Davidson as its associate head men’s soccer coach and recruiting coordinator.

Conferences

The Big East Conference announced the addition of Memphis as a full member to begin competition in the 2013-14 academic year.
