Mason Glick

Southern Illinois Edwardsville hired Mason Glick as a marketing specialist. A 2009 alum, Glick returns to the Cougars after serving as director of marketing, promotions and special events at South Carolina Upstate. Glick earned his undergraduate degree from Slippery Rock, where he played basketball.

Other transactions

Associate athletics directors – Nicholls State Associate Athletics Director Easton LeBouef will retire at the end of the calendar year. LeBouef has been with the department for the last 25 years, 20 of which as Associate AD.

Coaches

Football – Northern Michigan did not renew the contract of head football coach Bernie Anderson and promoted Chris Ostrowsky to the position. Anderson coached the Wildcats for six years, while Ostrowsky has been the offensive coordinator for the past two seasons … Washington State chose Mike Leach to lead its football program as head coach. Leach most recently was the head coach at Texas Tech from 2000-09.

Softball – Daniel Webster named Danielle DelPonte head softball coach. DelPonte spent the past two seasons as the top assistant at Boston College.

Staff

Development – Marshall named Doug Wallaceassistant director of development. Wallace graduated from Liberty in 2008 and assisted with the institution’s fundraising arm, the Flames Club.

Strength and conditioning – Montana State hired Alex Willcox as strength and conditioning coach.
