    The Colonial Athletic Association promoted three staff members: Scott Meyer, Niki DeSantis and Kelly Bowmaster.  Meyer was previously the conference's football director of communications and will now serve as an assistant commissioner for football. DeSantis was most recently the director of communications and will take the role of assistant commissioner for creative services/communications. Bowmaster was the director of video services and is now the assistant commissioner for creative services/video.

    Other Transactions

    Assistant directors of athletics – Northwestern hired Kurt Hasenbalg as assistant athletics director for ticket sales and services. Hasenbalg spent the past six years in the Chicago White Sox organization as the manager of group sales.

    Coaches

    Baseball – Appalachian State extended the contract of head coach Chris Pollard through the 2014-15 season. Pollard has led the program for six years including its current string of four consecutive 30-win seasons.

    Men's and women's cross country and track and field assistant – Missouri selected Teri Cantwell. Cantwell, who will coach the throws and horizontal jumps for men and women, is a two-time NCAA National Champion in the shot put.

    Men's and women's swimming and diving – Stephanie O'Callaghan was hired at St. Bonaventure. O'Callaghan was a diving student-athlete and graduate of Michigan.

    Men's and women's tennis – Karyn Rafalke joined the Le Moyne women's program.  Rafalke  previously coached at the high school level.

    Staff

    Athletics communications – Hobart and William Smith named Paige Mullin assistant director of athletics communications. Mullin spent the past academic year as an assistant sports information director at Hamilton.
