    SUNY Cortland field hockey coach Cynthia Wetmore earned her 200th career victory September 26 when the Red Dragons beat Springfield, 2-1. Her record with the Red Dragons is now 200-43 (.823). She is the second Cortland field hockey coach to reach the 200-win plateau – Pat Rudy was 217-67-13 over 15 seasons from 1981 to 1995.

    Coaches

    Baseball assistants – Delaware appointed Mike Ranson as the program's pitching coach. Ranson was a recruiting coordinator and worked with the junior varsity team at Limestone the past four seasons.

    Men's and women's golf – Derek Marks was appointed head coach of the men's golf program at Mitchell. Marks was also promoted to head coach of the men's lacrosse program after serving as an assistant coach last season.

    Men's and women's golf assistants – Tommy Ellison was selected as an assistant coach for the men's golf program at his alma mater Delaware. Ellison was a golf-student athlete for the Blue Hens from 2005 to 2009.

    Men's and women's lacrosse – Mitchell promoted Derek Marks to head coach of the men's lacrosse program. Mitchell, who served as an assistant coach with the program last season, was also named head coach of the men's golf program … Randolph Macon named J.B. Sheridan head coach of the men's lacrosse program after two years as an assistant coach with the men's lacrosse program at Goucher.

    Men's and women's lacrosse assistants – Delaware hired J.P. Brazel as assistant coach of the men's lacrosse program. Brazel was previously an assistant coach with the men's lacrosse team at Sacred Heart … Mat Faas joined the Delaware women's lacrosse program as an assistant coach after serving as an assistant women's lacrosse coach at Limestone.

    Rowing assistants – Jinny Jang was hired as an assistant coach at Delaware. Jang was a rowing student-athlete at Northwestern and also served as an assistant coach at her alma mater from 2008 to 2009.

    Softball assistants – Courtney Christie was named an assistant coach at Delaware. Christie was most recently a softball student-athlete at Iona under current Delaware head coach Jaime Wohlbach. Delaware also selected Michelle Hawkins as an assistant coach. Hawkins was previously an assistant coach at Penn State.

    Conferences

    The Mountain West Conference announced staff changes. Katie Cavendar was promoted to director of new media and technology. Marlon Edge was named assistant director of compliance after eight years as the assistant director of communication. Gary Walenga, the previous assistant director of compliance, was appointed as director of special projects. The league also hired Judy Wilson as associate director of communication and John Sullivan as championships coordinator. Wilson served as the director of athletics media relations at New Mexico the past three years, and Sullivan is a former football student-athlete at New Mexico.
