    The Big South Conference promoted staff members Mark Bryant and Nancy Perkins. Bryant, previously the coordinator of new media, was elevated to director of multimedia development. Perkins, who joined the conference in 2006 as office manager, was named the director of administration and finance.

    Other transactions

    Assistant athletics directors – D'Youville hired Angela Churchill as an assistant athletics director and head softball coach. Churchill was an assistant softball coach at Buffalo the past five seasons.

    Coaches

    Men's and women's golf assistants – Barry hired Shannon Sykora as an assistant coach of the men's and women's golf programs.

    Men's and women's ice hockey assistants – Rocky Romanella was selected as an assistant coach for the men's ice hockey program at Saint Michael's. Romanella played at Delaware.

    Men's and women's lacrosse – New England College appointed former student-athlete Jill Jones Grotnes head coach of the women's lacrosse program. Grotnes was most recently a coach at the high school level. In college, Grotnes played lacrosse and field hockey for the Pilgrims.

    Softball assistants – Meghan Simons rejoined the Mount Union softball program as an assistant coach. Simons recently graduated from the university and was a softball and basketball student-athlete.
