    The Eastern College Athletic Conference elected Kevin McGinniss as first vice president and president elect. McGinniss is currently an associate director of athletics at Rhode Island and will serve a two-year term as first vice president. He will then be elevated to president for a two-year term and then serve as past president for an additional two years.

    Coaches

    Football – North Carolina Central appointed Darryl Bullock interim head coach following the reassignment of head coach Mose Rison. Bullock is in his fourth season as assistant head coach and offensive line coach with the program.

    Men's and women's volleyball – Chris Jonson, head coach of the women's volleyball program at Colorado State Pueblo, announced his resignation, effective at the end of the 2010 season. Jonson has guided the program since 2007.
