    Sean Sullivan was named director of athletics and recreation at Clark, effective Feb. 1, 2011. Sullivan was the assistant dean of student affairs for athletics and recreation at York (Pennsylvania) the past seven years. Sullivan succeeds Linda Moulton, who is retiring.

    Coaches

    Men's and women's lacrosse – High Point hired Jon Torpey as head coach of the new men's lacrosse program. Torpey is currently an associate head coach of the men's lacrosse team at Dartmouth and will join the Panther's program at the conclusion of the spring season.

    Softball – Julie Fox joined Wheelock as head coach following four seasons as head softball coach at MIT.

    Men's and women's volleyball – Al Givens announced his resignation as head coach of the women's volleyball program at Weber State after 18 years of service.

    Conferences

    The Eastern College Athletic Conference named Shane Brey director of marketing and Matt Fogg coordinator of marketing and sport administration. Brey's previous experience in intercollegiate athletics was as the supervisor of events at Delaware from 1998 to 2005. Fogg served as a championships assistant at Bushnell during the 2009-10 academic year.
