Furman announced the resignation of head football coach Bobby Lamb. Lamb has been a part of the Paladins program since 1982 when he arrived at Furman as a student-athlete. He served as an assistant coach following his graduation in 1985 until his promotion to head coach in 2001.

Coaches
Men's and women's cross country and track and field – Ed Lyons announced his retirement as head coach of the men's and women's cross country and track and field programs at Bentley. Lyons has guided the programs since 1992.
Football – Doug Martin, head coach at Kent State, is resigning at the conclusion of the season. Martin led the program for eight seasons after first joining the staff in 2003 as the offensive coordinator.
Conferences
The Big 12 Conference retained Tom Jernstedt, former NCAA executive vice president, as a consultant. Jernstedt will work with the league on media negotiations and other matters.
Miscellaneous
Keri Potts, a former assistant director in communication at the NCAA, was promoted to director of communications for college sports at ESPN. Potts joined ESPN in 2003 and was promoted to her previous position as associate director in 2008.
