    Bobby Wallace, head coach of the West Alabama football program, announced his retirement, effective at the end of the season. Wallace, who has guided the Tigers for the last five seasons, began his career as a head coach at North Alabama in 1988. Wallace led the Lions to three consecutive Division II Football Championships from 1993 to 1995 with an overall record of 41-1 during that time.

    Football – Idaho State released John Zamberlin as head coach, effective at the end of the season. Zamberlin is concluding his fourth season with the program … Angelo State did not renew the contracts of head coach Dale Carr and his staff (Scott Clough, Matt Fryar, Russell Gaskamp and Nathan Larned). Carr has guided the program since 2005.

    Men's and women's golf – Quinnipiac named John O'Conner as head coach of the women's golf program. O'Conner was most recently the head coach of the men's golf program for three seasons.
