    The Citadel hired Chuck Driesell as men's basketball coach. He spent the previous four seasons as an assistant coach at Maryland. He is the son of former Terrapins' coach Lefty Driesell, for whom he played at Maryland from 1981-85.

    Men's basketball – Quinnipiac head coach Tom Moore signed a contract extension through the 2014-15 season … Jason Lowery resigned as men's basketball coach at Pacific … Holy Family named John O'Connor as men's basketball coach … Memphis extended the contract of men's basketball coach Josh Pastner through the 2014-15 season … Kyle Smith has been named men's basketball coach at Columbia.

     

    Women's basketball -- Carleton named Cassie Kosiba women's basketball coach … Concordia (Texas) hired Rusty Rainbolt as women's basketball coach … Northern Illinois women's basketball coach Carol Owens stepped down … Memphis extended the contract of women's basketball coach Melissa McFerrin through the 2014-15 season.

    Men's and women's ice hockey – Wisconsin extended the contract of men's ice hockey coach Mike Eaves through June 2015.

    Men's and women's swimming -- 
    Toledo's swimming and diving coach Lars Jorgensen agreed to a contract extension through 2014.

    Sports property management – The Ohio Valley Conference hired Jon Kuka as director of sport properties/IMG College.
