    Meredith assistant professor and coach David Zinn is leaving to become the athletics director at Chatham beginning this fall. Zinn served as an assistant professor, assistant athletics coordinator, academic advisor, and strength and conditioning coach at Meredith. He also coached the basketball team for five seasons.

    Other transactions

    Presidents and chancellorsRichard F. Celeste, the former ambassador to India and governor of Ohio who has led Colorado College since 2002, will step down as the institution's president next year.

    Coaches

    Men's basketball assistants – UC Irvine named Ali Ton as an assistant coach. Ton has been an assistant coach at Radford for the past three seasons. 

    Men's and women's lacrosse – Presbyterian promoted Mike Gongas to head men's lacrosse coach. Gongas has been interim and then acting head coach since September 2009.

    Softball – Meredith head coach Robert Luckadoo announced he will be leaving the college at the end of the season to pursue a career in athletics administration. Luckadoo has coached at Meredith since 2008 … Western Washington softball coach Lonnie Hicks resigned after nine seasons with the Vikings.

    Men's and women's tennis – Colorado State-Pueblo head women's tennis coach Brian Drummond resigned after one season as head coach.

    Conferences

    The Commonwealth Coast Conference promoted three-year sports information coordinator Matt Pettinicchi to assistant commissioner for sports information.
