Mesa State named Abigail Simpson the school's first head women's lacrosse coach. Simpson was a volunteer coach with Long Island Select Lacrosse and has more than four years of experience coaching at various camps throughout the state of New York. She was a student-athlete at Cortland State.

Athletics director – Cleveland State named John Parry interim athletics director while the university conducts a national search for a permanent replacement for Lee Reed. Parry was athletics director at Butler and Brown … Mississippi State promoted Scott Stricklin, formerly the senior associate athletics director for external affairs, to replace Greg Byrne.

Men's basketball – C.W. Post selected former St. John's (New York) assistant Chris Casey … Southern Connecticut State tabbed former Post University coach Michael Donnelly.
Women's basketball – Adelphi hired former Daniel Webster coach Heather Jacobs.
Men's and women's swimming – Yale promoted longtime assistant coach Tim Wise to lead the men's program and hired Olympic medalist Cristina Teuscher for its women's program.
Men's and women's volleyball – McNeese State tabbed former Midland Lutheran coach Terry Gamble for its women's team… Pace selected former Bentley assistant Karrin Moore as head women's coach.
