Northern State hired Paul Sather for its men's basketball program. Sather replaces the retiring Don Meyer. Sather graduated from Northern State in 1996 and worked as an assistant under Meyer and former coach Bob Olson from 1998 to 2004. He spent the last five years as head coach at Black Hills State.

Austin … La Salle hired Jeff Williams, associate head coach at Pittsburgh. Williams was head coach at Howard for five years and also coached at Georgia Tech, George Mason and South Carolina State … Lea Henry announced her resignation after 16 seasons at Georgia State. She complied a 245-222 record with the Panthers, and a 303-222 mark as a head coach.

Men's and women's lacrosse assistant – Wheaton (Massachusetts) named Marco Barbone to its men's program. Barbone graduated from Wheaton in 2009, helping the Lyons advance to two Pilgrim League Tournament championship games.

Softball assistant – Wheaton (Massachusetts) selected Sarah Campbell, a former soccer and softball player at Keene State.

Conferences – The Mid-American Conference named Marcia Alterman coordinator of volleyball officials. Alterman also serves as coordinator of women's volleyball officials for the Big Ten, Conference-USA and the Big East. She has served as women's volleyball secretary-rules editor since 2001.
