    Marian appointed Steven R. DiSalvo to succeed Mary Mollison as president of the institution. Mollison has been serving in an interim role since March 2009. DiSalvo most recently served as president and founder of The Hopewell Group, a consulting group for philanthropic organizations. He also has experience at Fordham, Loyola (Illinois) and Fairfield and as a manager with IMB.

    Other transactions

    Presidents and chancellors – Abilene Christian promoted Executive Vice President Phil Schubert to the presidency. Schubert, who graduated from Abilene Christian in 1991, has worked for the institution for 16 years.

    Coaches

    Football assistants – Wofford selected James Adams to coach cornerbacks. Adams spent the last two seasons on the football staff at Wake Forest … Nicholls State hired Chuck Hepola to coach running backs and Keith Uperesa to run the offensive line. Hepola spent the past year at Louisiana-Monroe. Upresa spent the past five seasons at UNLV.
