    Bob Nash was dismissed after three seasons as head men's basketball coach at Hawaii, where his teams compiled a 34-56 record. He previously served for 25 years as an assistant at the school under Riley Wallace, helping lead the Rainbow Warriors to three appearances in the Division I Men's Basketball Championship. Nash played on Hawaii's first Division I tournament entry in 1972 and was a first-round draft pick that year of the Detroit Pistons.

    Men's basketballRobert Lee dismissed after six seasons at Louisiana-Lafayette. He led the Ragin' Cajuns to the Division I Men's Basketball Championship during his first season as head coach, after serving for eight years as an assistant at the school.

    TennisChris O'Brien named interim head men's and women's coach at Connecticut College. He has been head men's and women's coach for the past six years at Roger Williams and is a former men's coach at Rochester.

    VolleyballBen Rodeffer named assistant women's coach at Youngstown State.

    Reprimand

    The Division II Men's Soccer Committee reprimanded Lynn men's soccer coach John Rootes for violating the Division II code of conduct. Rootes displayed unsportsmanlike conduct by directing offensive language toward a game official during a first-round contest of the 2009 Division II Men's Soccer Championship.
