    Bridgeport named Stephanie Del Preore head coach of the women's basketball and women's cross country programs. Del Preore brings to Bridgeport various experiences at all three NCAA divisions and at the professional level. As a basketball student-athlete at Marist, Del Preore graduated as the sixth-leading scorer in program history. She went on to play professionally overseas, then transitioned into coaching as an assistant at Caldwell and most recently at Stevens Institute of Technology.

    Coaches

    Football assistantsLyle Hemphill returned to Delaware as the cornerbacks coach after four seasons as an assistant at Hofstra. Hemphill was a graduate assistant at Delaware during the 2004 and 2005 seasons.


    Men's and women's ice hockey – Robert Morris extended the contract of women's ice hockey head coach Nate Handrahan through the 2013-14 season. Handrahan has led the women's ice hockey program since 2006 and was an assistant coach of the men's ice hockey program for two seasons before that … Quinnipiac extended the contract of women's ice hockey head coach Rick Seeley through the 2014-15 season.


    Softball Brian Levin was named head coach at Missouri-St. Louis after a year at Murray State in the program's inaugural season.


    Softball assistants
    – St. John's (New York) hired Brette Reagan as an assistant coach after one season as a student assistant and four seasons as a softball student-athlete at Baylor.


    Men's and women's swimming and diving – Erin Detwiler was named head coach of the men's and women's swimming and diving programs at Allegheny. Detweiler previously served as an assistant coach and aquatics coordinator at Emory.

    Staff

    Academic support – Bradley named Heather Moles academic coordinator for basketball. Moles joined the department in 2008 and served as interim academic coordinator for basketball earlier this year.

    Communications – Daniel Gallegos, former student assistant at Ozarks (Arkansas), was named assistant director of athletics communication and sports marketing at Allegheny.

    Equipment – Hobart/William Smith appointed Kevin McDonald equipment coordinator after Bill Ryan retired following 22 years in the position.

    NCAA committee vacancies
    The NCAA is soliciting nominations for an immediate vacancy on the Division III Women's Tennis Committee. The appointee will replace Jeff Borengasser of Westminster (Missouri), who resigned from the committee. The appointee must be from the Central region and may be a coach or an administrator. The deadline for submitting nomination materials is August 20. Nominations must be submitted online (Division III access code: committee3; Division III password: 2006).
