    Harvard appointed former assistant Carl Junot head coach of the men's soccer program. Junot worked at Harvard the past two seasons and recently left to become the men's head coach at Tufts. He returned to the Crimson after the departure of Jamie Clark, who assumed the men's head coach position at Creighton.

    Other transactions

    Directors of athletics – Gerald Young, an NCAA Fellows Leadership Development Program alumnus, was promoted to the role of athletics director at Carleton.

    Coaches

    Baseball assistants – Nebraska hired former student-athlete Darin Erstad as an assistant coach. Erstad played baseball and football for the Cornhuskers in the mid 1990s and played Major League Baseball for 14 years … Dan Roszel joined the East Carolina staff as a pitching coach after two seasons at the College of Charleston as a pitching coach and recruiting coordinator … Houston announced the return of Trip Couch as an assistant coach. Couch was previously an assistant with the Cougars from 1995 to 2000.

    Men's basketball assistants – Binghamton named Ron Brown assistant coach. Brown was an assistant at Fairleigh Dickinson the last eight years … Erick Mays was hired as an assistant coach at Christopher Newport. Mays played two seasons for the Captains from 1993 to 1995 … Saint Augustine's head coach Lonnie Blow Jr. resigned to accept an assistant coach position at Old Dominion.

    Women's basketball assistants – Ali Prichard was promoted to assistant coach at North Dakota State. Prichard spent the last two seasons as director of operations for the Bison program … Rhode Island College named Joanna Skiba assistant coach. Skiba previously played professionally in Spain and Iceland following four years as a student-athlete at Bryant.

    Men's and women's cross country and track and field – Central Connecticut State appointed Eric Blake head coach of the women's cross country and track and field programs. Blake is already head coach of the men's cross country and track and field programs there.

    Football assistants – Zach Hufford was hired as a safeties coach at Methodist. Hufford served as a graduate assistant at Heidelberg the past two seasons.

    Men's and women's golf – Long Beach State named Ryan Ressa head coach of the men's golf program. Ressa worked as a men's golf assistant at UCLA last season  … Pfeiffer named Greg Flesher head coach of the men's and women's golf programs … Florida Golf Coast promoted Brent Jensen to head men's golf coach. Jensen assumes the role vacated by Jim Suttie, who will become director of golf operations for both the men's and women's programs … Meghan Spero was hired as the head women's golf coach at Florida Gulf Coast. Spero was previously an assistant professional at a Naples, Florida, country club.

    Men's and women's volleyball – CCNY hired Stafford Barzey as the head coach of the women's volleyball program. Barzey was an assistant women's volleyball coach at Pace.

    Associations

    CoSIDA appointed Virginia Union sports information director Jim Junot vice chair of the National Technology Committee. Junot has been a member of the committee since 2007 and will serve in his new role alongside Chad Jackson of Armstrong Atlantic State.
