    Joe Susan, a veteran of more than 30 years in the college coaching profession, has been named head coach at Bucknell. Susan, a 1977 graduate of Delaware, has been an assistant at Bucknell (1981-90), Princeton (1991-99) and Rutgers (2001-09) in addition to stints at Memphis and Davidson.

    Athletics directors – King (Tennessee) Athletics Director Dale Burns retired. The school named Dale Rutherford interim athletics director.

    Coaches

    Football assistants – Georgia Tech recruiting coordinator Giff Smith resigned to become outside linebackers coach for the Buffalo Bills … Shepherd named Ernie McCook assistant head football coach and offensive coordinator … Texas-San Antonio selected Tony Jeffery as wide receivers and special teams coach … Western Michigan chose Amp Campbell as cornerbacks coach … North Dakota State promoted Scottie Hazelton to defensive coordinator.

    Sports information assistantsKristin Duffy was hired as a sports information assistant at Fordham.

    Strength and conditioning – Louisiana-Monroe named John Grieco strength and conditioning coach.
