Bill Moos, a former athletics director at Montana and Oregon, has been named the new athletics director at Washington State. Moos, 59, will begin his new duties no later than May 1. He is expected to sign a seven-year contract. He will succeed Jim Sterk, who announced last week that he is taking the position as athletics director of San Diego State. Washington State Senior Associate Athletics Director Anne McCoy will continue to serve as interim athletics director until Moos takes over.

Men's and women's soccer -- St. Andrew's named Randy Hernandez women's interim soccer coach.
