    Oglethorpe head women's basketball coach Ron Sattele has taken a leave of absence, effective immediately. Sattele was in his seventh season at the helm of the program. Fallon Rehmert, in her third season as an assistant coach, will serve as the interim head coach for the remainder of the season.

    Other transactions

    Presidents and chancellors – Alcorn State selected M. Christopher Brown II as its next president. Brown currently serves as the vice president and provost at Fisk.

    Coaches

    Men's and women's lacrosse – Adam Torrisi was elevated to interim head coach of the men's lacrosse program at Montclair State following the death of head coach John Greco in November. Torrisi is a former Redhawks lacrosse student-athlete and has served as an assistant coach since 2003.

    Men's and women's lacrosse assistants – Jim Morrissey joined the Holy Cross men's lacrosse program as an assistant coach. Morrissey previously served as an assistant coach with the men's lacrosse team at Hobart in 2007 and 2008.

    Men's and women's volleyball – Molloy hired Billy Corrao as head coach of the women's volleyball program. Corrao was an assistant coach with the women's volleyball program at Adelphi the past four seasons … Lincoln Memorial head coach Mike Smith resigned as head coach of the women's volleyball program after 17 seasons. Smith will continue his other roles on a full-time basis as the compliance offer and assistant director of athletics.

    Staff

    Athletic trainers – Meredith Pope was named head athletic trainer at Mercy. Pope's previous intercollegiate athletics experience was at Virginia, where she worked with several programs, including the football and men's lacrosse teams.
