    Former Duquesne sports information director and men's golf coach Nellie King died August 11 at the age of 82. King served as sports information director from 1975 through 1992 and was head coach of the men's golf program for 16 years, retiring after the 2003-04 season.

    Coaches

    Men's basketball assistants – Chattanooga hired Jonathan Adams as a graduate manager.

    Field hockey – Katie White was selected as an assistant field hockey coach at Holy Cross. White spent the last three seasons as an assistant coach at Albany.

    Men's and women's golf – Milwaukee School of Engineering hired Phil Plautz as head coach of the women's golf program.

    Men's and women's soccer assistants – Greg Dalby and Ryan Souders were named assistant coaches of the men's soccer program at Davidson. Dalby and Souders are professional soccer players and former soccer student-athletes.

    Staff

    Athletic training – Rensselaer hired Takayo Karasawa as an assistant athletic trainer. Karasawa was a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Nebraska-Omaha last year.

    Communications – Marlene Navor was named director of athletics communications at College of Charleston. Navor was an assistant media relations director at Texas A&M the last four years.
