    Allegheny named Jim Driggs head men's basketball coach. Driggs was an assistant coach at Rochester, helping the Yellowjackets to two NCAA tournament appearances. Driggs also was an assistant at Eastern Connecticut State and Union (New York). He was a student-athlete at Hamilton.

    Men's basketball – Brian Nash resigned from St. Francis, citing personal reasons … Ron Bradley will take over the reins at Clemson on an interim basis. The school is searching for a replacement for Oliver Purnell, who was hired at DePaul … Wake Forest released Dino Gaudio after three seasons as head coach and seven seasons as an assistant under the late Skip Prosser … Tulane selected Ed Conroy, who spent the past four season at The Citadel. He was an assistant at Coastal Carolina, Tennessee, Furman, VMI and North Carolina State … Missouri-St. Louis tabbed Steve Tappmeyer, longtime coach at Northwest Missouri State … C.W. Post's Tim Cluess resigned to become head coach at Iona … Mike Neer will retire from Rochester at the end of the academic year. Neer coached the Yellowjackets for 34 seasons and leaves with a record of 563-326.

    Men's and women's soccer – UNLV hired former Rebels student-athlete Rich Ryerson to replace Mario Sanchez with the men's program. Ryerson played soccer professionally and also spent time as a high school teacher and athletics director.

    Softball – Beanie Ketcham resigned from Samford, effective at the end of the season. She has been with the school since 2003.

    Men's and women's swimming and diving – Adam Schmitt resigned after six years at LSU.

    Men's and women's tennis – Texas Lutheran hired Western Illinois coach Michael Hunt. Hunt also coached the women's program at Sam Houston State.

    Men's and women's track and field – Bob Kitchens will retire after 22 seasons with UTEP and 42 years as a coach. His career included stops at West Texas A&M and Mississippi State.

    Men's and women's volleyball – Menlo selected Daniel Rasay for its women's program. Rasay is currently a volunteer assistant for Stanford's men's team.
