Relay finish lifts Illinois Wesleyan to DIII women’s track title

    The NCAA News

Marie Borner of Bethel sprints to the finish of her victory in the 1,500-meter run. Borner also won the 800-meter dash.

Third place never meant more to Tara Clemens and the Illinois Wesleyan women's 1,600-meter relay team than it did on Saturday.

Clemens' anchor-leg finish gave the Titans third place by seven-tenths of a second and earned her team the women's title at the Division III Men's and Women's Track and Field Championships in Berea, Ohio. [More]
