    Chicago's duo wins DIII title; Tufts' Browne takes singles crown

    Chicago doubles partners Kendra Higgins and Chrissy Hu defended their Division III women's tennis doubles crown Saturday, defeating Emory's Zahra Dawson and Lorne McManigle in three sets.

    The Maroons duo lost the first set, 4-6, before pulling off 6-3 and 6-4 victories to win the title.

    Tufts' Julia Browne beat Williams' Grace Baljon, 6-2, 7-5, to win the singles title. [More]

    But Baljon did not go home empty-handed – Williams won the team championship, 5-0, over Emory on May 27. [More]
