An evolutionary biology of human species major with a 4.07 grade-point average, Spear is a two-time second-team All-American selection who earned first-team All-Ivy League honors three times. He received the 2010 NCAA Elite 88 award for fencing. The 2008 NCAA champion, Spear finished seventh at the national championship this year and took second place at the regional. He graduated as Salutatorian of his Columbia University senior class and was selected the class of 2010's top scholar-athlete.

Laurent, a biochemistry, cellular and molecular biology major with a 3.94 GPA, won the 2010 NCAA Division III Wrestling Championship in the 285-pound division, his third consecutive national title. He was also named as the 2010 Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Wrestler of the Year after winning his fourth straight WIAC title. Laurent compiled a 33-3 record during the 2010 season and became the fourth wrestler in WIAC history to win four consecutive 285-pound titles.

Honored as the 2010 WIAC Scholar-Athlete of the Year for wrestling, he was selected to the National Wrestling Coaches Association Scholar All-America Team three times. The two-year captain was named as the 2008 Wisconsin-La Crosse Biochemistry Student of the Year.

    Women's team

On the women's side, Schluntz is a graduate student who carries a perfect GPA while studying fluid dynamics. Last year, she graduated from Arizona with her B.S. degree in mechanical engineering summa cum laude. She was honored as the Pacific-10 Conference Scholar-Athlete of the Year for women's swimming and was a finalist for the NCAA Walter Byers Postgraduate Scholarship.

Hoff, an ESS-Fitness and pre-physical therapy major with a 4.0 GPA, finished her career with 18 Division III All-America honors, including seven individual awards. She was named the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference swimmer of the meet for three consecutive years and won nine individual WIAC titles. Hoff was the NCAA Division III runner-up in the 100-yard backstroke as a senior and finished fifth in the 50- and 100-yard freestyles.
