John Reeves signed a three-year contract extension as commissioner of the Landmark Conference in Division III. He came out of retirement in 2007 – after having served 14 years as athletics director at Columbia -- to serve as commissioner for the newly formed conference. The league annually crowns 32 champions, and 23 Landmark members already have competed in NCAA championships, even as the league awaits eligibility during 2009-10 for automatic qualification.

PresidentNancy B. Moody, a member of the Division II Presidents Council as president at Lincoln Memorial, will become president at Tusculum June 1 … Joanne V. Creighton announced she will step down as president at Mount Holyoke at the end of the 2009-100 academic year … Pamela A. Eibeck selected as president at Pacific, effective July 1, after serving as dean of engineering and professor of mechanical engineering at Texas Tech … Sister Jane Gerety will become president at Salve Regina in July. She is executive board officer for Saint Joseph’s Health System in Atlanta … Judith Maxwell Greig selected for the presidency at Notre Dame de Namur, where she has been serving as acting president

Assistant athletics directorStephen Clacherty named assistant director of athletics for compliance at Stony Brook. He previously was assistant director of compliance at Miami (Florida).

 Coaches

Football assistantChad Germer selected as offensive line coach at Montana, where he played and then coached for five seasons before serving since 2003 on the staff at Wyoming.

Women’s soccerJoel Person appointed head coach at Francis Marion, where he was assistant men’s soccer coach last season.
