Anne Kennedy will lead the women’s rowing program at Santa Clara. She is a former assistant at California, where she helped lead the Golden Bears to a Pacific-10 Conference title in 2008. Kennedy, a former rowing all-American at Dartmouth who competed in the 2007 Division I Rowing Championships as the stroke on the school’s Varsity Eight, has spent the past year training with the U.S. National Team.

Other transactions

Baseball Andy Crisafulli returned to Rhode Island College for a second stint as pitching coach. He was pitching coach and recruiting coordinator at the school from 2004 to 2008, before serving as head coach last spring at Portsmouth (Rhode Island) High School.

Men’s basketball assistantsMarcus Gill joined the staff at Ohio Wesleyan after a season at Albion, where he was a basketball team captain during the 2005-06 season. He also has coached at Siena Heights … John Weir named assistant coach at Rhode Island College after serving last season on the staff at Connecticut College.

Football Justin Berna named offensive coordinator at MacMurray after serving for three years as wide receivers and running backs coach at Lindenwood.

SoccerKevin Gathje appointed assistant men’s and women’s coach at MacMurray after assisting the girls’ team at Gordon Technical High School in Illinois. He was an all-College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Conference player at North Park.

Staff

Fund raisingDan McLean and Mike Keller appointed as regional directors for the Beaver Athletic Student Fund at Oregon State. Both previously were on the staff at Fresno State.

Marketing and eventsHolly Block named marketing and events database coordinator at Oregon State.

VideoMalisa Hollis promoted to director of sports video at Oregon State.
