Tom Dorre, associate athletics director for business affairs at Arkansas, has announced he will retire after 42 years on January 31, 2010. Dorre joined the athletics department in August 2002 and has served the last seven years as the head of the Razorbacks’ business affairs. Dorre spent the previous 16 years as the associate vice chancellor for finance.

Coaches

Men’s and women’s tennis – Chris Young has been named women’s tennis coach at Oklahoma State.

Men’s and women’s volleyball – Michigan Tech hired Orlando Gonzalez as the women’s volleyball coach.

Staff

Assistant athletic trainers – Anne Smallwood has been added as an assistant athletic trainer at Mount Olive.

Media relations – Bob Healy has been named sports information intern at Loyola (Illinois).
