Nova Southeastern named Hollie Bonewit-Cron as coach of its new men’s and women’s swimming and diving programs. Bonewit-Cron will head up the most recent of Nova Southeastern’s three athletics department expansions since being granted full NCAA membership in 2002. The men’s and women’s swimming and diving program is scheduled to begin NCAA competition in 2010-11.

Other transactions

Associate athletics directors – Norfolk State hired Karen Holmes to the new position of associate athletics director for development.

Coaches

Women’s basketball – Le Moyne named Rich Conover as women’s basketball coach.

 

Women’s soccer assistants – Stacey Balaam has been named assistant women’s soccer coach at Montevallo.

Softball – Sean Cotter was named coach of the Massachusetts-Lowell softball program.

Men’s and women’s tennis – Southern Indiana announced Chris Crawford as men’s tennis coach.

Men’s and women’s volleyball – Manhattan named Mark Jones as women’s volleyball coach. … Bridgeport announced that Leo Uzcategui has joined the department of athletics staff as the head coach of the women’s volleyball program.

Staff

Diversity and inclusion – DeeDee Brown-Campbell has been named coordinator of athletics diversity initiatives for the Arkansas athletics department.
