Sylvia Kamp has been named Georgia State’s men’s and women’s cross country coach. Kamp has spent the last three years at Wright State, directing all aspects of the cross country and track and field programs for men and women, and she previously served as an assistant coach at Florida, Butler and Xavier.

Men’s and women’s golf – Marty Burke has been named the men’s golf coach at Bentley.

Men’s and women’s swimming – Steven Barnes has been hired as the coach of the swimming and diving team at Wabash.

 

Men’s and women’s tennis -- Norfolk State hired Matthew Halfpenny as the Spartans’ new men’s and women’s tennis coach.

Men’s basketball assistants – Newberry hired Kyle Steinway as assistant men's basketball coach.

Women’s basketball assistants – Angie Russell was hired as an assistant coach at Dayton.

Men’s and women’s ice hockey assistants – Boston University promoted Mike Bavis associate coach in the men's ice hockey program, and announced that Buddy Powers is joining the ice hockey staff as assistant coach.

Men’s and women’s soccer assistants – Joslyn Slovek was hired as an assistant coach for the Loyola Marymount women’s soccer team.

Men’s and women’s swimming assistants – Washington-St. Louis hired Nicole Kaupp as assistant men’s and women’s swimming and diving coach.

Media relations – Evansville announced the hiring of Whitney Tarpy as sports information assistant.
