Doug Wojcik signed a new six-year contract, keeping him at the head of Tulsa’s men’s basketball program through 2014-15. Wojcik led the Golden Hurricanes to three consecutive 20-win seasons. He has been with Tulsa since 2005.

Other transactions

Assistant athletics director – Jennifer Thomas will join the DePaul staff as assistant director of athletics development. Thomas had been an intern with the National Association of Collegiate Women Athletics Administrators.

Coaches

Baseball – Washington released Ken Knutson, who was with the school as a player, assistant or head coach for the last 27 years.

Women’s basketball assistants – Southern California hired Kelley Gibson and Mary Wooley. Gibson spent the last two seasons at Maine, while Wooley came from Temple.

Football – Cincinnati signed Brian Kelly to a new five-year contract. The deal keeps the 2007 and 2008 Big East Coach of the year at the school through 2013.

Football assistant – Davidson tabbed Josh Lustig to coach wide receivers. Lustig has coaching experience at Georgetown and Richmond. He was a student-athlete at William and Mary.
