Deitre Collins-Parker was named women’s volleyball coach at San Diego State. Collins-Parker, who led the Hawaii to NCAA championships in 1982 and 1983 as a student-athlete, coached at Cornell the last five years. She guided the Big Red to three Ivy League titles and two NCAA appearances. Collins was also head coach at UNLV for eight seasons.

Men’s Basketball -- New Hampshire announced that men’s basketball coach Bill Herrion has signed a new five-year contract.l College has hired Steve Jewett to lead the men's lacrosse pram. 

Men’s and women’s lacrosse – Mitchell hired Steve Jewett to lead the men's lacrosse program. 

Men’s and women’s volleyball --University of Mary hired Eric Snyder as coach of the women’s volleyball team.

Football assistants -- Drew Folmar will join the Kutztown football coaching staff as the new offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach. … Middle Tennessee hired Tony Franklin as offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach. … Richmond named Vic Shealy defensive coordinator, Stacy Tutt tight ends coach and Chris Stewart director of strength and conditioning. Tight ends coach Scott Burton was reassigned to wide receivers coach.

Men’s and women’s volleyball assistants – Auburn promoted Chris Campbell to associate volleyball coach.

Reprimand

Southeastern Conference Commissioner Mike Slive issued a public reprimand to Tennessee head football coach Lane Kiffin for comments that violated the league’s code of ethics regarding a bylaw that coaches and administrators shall refrain from directed public criticism of other member institutions, their staffs or players.
