Mike Rice, men’s basketball coach at Robert Morris, was awarded a three-year contract extension through the 2015-16 season. In two seasons under Rice, the Colonials have posted an overall record of 50-19 and earned a pair of postseason bids.

Other transactions

Men’s basketball – Delaware head coach Monte Ross earned a contract extension through the 2014-15 season. Ross recently completed his third year in charge of the program … Andrew Helton was tapped as head coach at Eastern New Mexico. For the past two seasons, he has been an assistant at South Alabama and formerly has coached at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, Miami (Florida), St. Francis (Pennsylvania) and Pittsburgh-Johnstown.

Women’s soccerKen Pollard was chosen as head coach at Purchase.

Women’s volleyball assistantLindsey Gray was added as an assistant coach at College of Charleston. Gray is a 2008 graduate of Georgia Tech, where she was a four-year member of the Yellow Jackets’ volleyball squad. She most recently has been a junior volleyball merchandiser and marketing assistant at Russell Athletic Corporation.
