The Eastern Collegiate Football Conference marked the end of its inaugural season by unveiling a conference logo and introducing a redesigned Web site.

The logo’s distinctive characteristics include eight stitches representing the conference’s eight founding members and the highlighted word “collegiate” to emphasize the league’s focus on the collegiate experience.

Norwich finished league play undefeated to win the first ECFC title, clinching the crown in Saturday’s victory over runner-up Mount Ida.

Two conference members, Anna Maria and Castleton State, sponsored varsity football for the first time this season, and the two schools each played their very first games against each other in September, with Castleton State winning.
