Following is a summary of Division III news published January 26-30.

•         Scranton’s Mike Strong became only the second Division III women’s basketball coach to reach the 700-victory milestone, following a pair of victories over the weekend by his Lady Royals. •         St. Norbert’s Connie Tilley was surprised with a ceremony naming the school’s basketball court in her honor, following the Green Knights’ victory over Knox – Tilley’s 499th career win in her 32-year tenure.

•         Men’s and women’s volleyball teams at Elms and Newbury will pay tribute to David Hildebrandt, who died last summer as he was leaving Newbury to coach the teams at Elms.
