Following is a summary of Division III news from the week of May 26-29.

• Pacific (Oregon) plans to reinstate football beginning in 2010, after dropping sponsorship of the sport in 1991.
• A two-time participant in the Division III Men’s Tennis Championships from Texas-Tyler and an MIT tennis student-athlete involved in a project to create a Braille labeling machine for the visually impaired are this year’s Division III recipients of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association’s Arthur Ashe Award for Leadership and Sportsmanship.
• Division III team champions were determined in baseball,  men’s lacrosse, men’s tennis, women’s tennis, men’s track and women’s track.
