The Division III Baseball committee announced that the 2010 and 2011 Division III Baseball Championships will be at Fox Cities Stadium in Appleton, Wisconsin. Lawrence University and the Fox Cities Convention and Visitors Bureau will host.

“The committee is excited to be able to continue its relationship with Lawrence University and the Fox Cities Convention and Visitors Bureau,” said Rick Espeset, chair of the Division III Baseball Committee and head baseball coach at Manchester. “We believe this group has done a tremendous job of providing the best possible championship experience for the student-athletes and we look forward to being back in Appleton for two more years.”

Appleton will host the double-elimination tournament May 22-26, 2009, marking the tenth consecutive year the city has hosted the Division III Baseball Championship. Trinity (Connecticut) defeated Johns Hopkins for the 2008 championship at Fox Cities Stadium, the first national title for the Bantams. The first year Appleton hosted the event, in 2000, Montclair State defeated St. Thomas.
