Lock Haven senior Kristin Erb broke the NCAA Division II record for pitching wins Thursday when she won both ends of a doubleheader against Indiana (Pennsylvania). The two victories gave Erb 142 career victories, one more than Danielle Penner of California (Pennsylvania) compiled from 1995-98.

Erb’s Lady Eagles won both games, 5-0. Lock Haven is now 25-4 overall and 6-0 in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Central Division play.

Erb fanned 11 in the first game and was working on a perfect outing through 5.2 innings, finishing with a one-hitter. She struck out nine batters in the nightcap and is now 142-16 in her career.
