Following is a summary of Division II news from the week of March 23-27.

The Division II Legislation Committee made progress on fixing the division’s organized-competition rule at its meeting this week, suggesting a core set of parameters for the Management Council to review later this spring.

The Legislation Committee also continued the review of playing and practice seasons with an eye toward possible reductions in some sports.

Division II identified dates for the next National Championships Festival in fall 2010.

The deadline for applying for allocations from the new Division II membership fund is April 10.
