• Division II continued its Life in the Balance discussions this week as the Legislation and Championships Committees met jointly in Seattle on Wednesday. • The Pacific West Conference during its spring meeting developed a scheduling format that is expected to reduce costs.
• Salem International has reorganized its athletics program to gain efficiencies and become more competitive in the West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
• The Division II Championships Committee has penalized institutions involved in misconduct during the winter-sports National Championships Festival in March.
