Barden leads Fort Lewis to second soccer title

David Barden followed a three-goal effort in the semifinals with a single score in the final to lift Fort Lewis to a 1-0 victory over Lees-McRae in the Division II Men’s Soccer Championship on December 5 at Tampa.

Barden’s goal at the 77:33 mark – on a header off a cross from Kyle Wood – was all No. 1 Fort Lewis needed as the Skyhawks claimed their second national championship. [More]
