Women's golf sites announced for 2011

Texas A&M has been selected to host the 2011 Division I Women’s Golf Championships at the Traditions Golf Club in College Station, Texas, on May 17-20.

The Division I Women’s Golf Committee also announced sites for the three regionals for 2011:

  • Notre Dame will host the Central Region championship at the Warren Golf Course in Notre Dame, Indiana.
  • Stetson will host the East Regional championship at the LPGA International in Daytona Beach, Florida.
  • Washington will host the West Regional championship at the Washington National Golf Club in Seattle.

All three regionals will be May 5-7, 2011. The eight lowest-scoring teams, as well as the two lowest-scoring individuals not on an advancing team from each of the three regional championships will qualify for the finals at Texas A&M.

This year’s championship finals are May 18-21 in Wilmington, North Carolina.
