Ohio State signed a media-rights partnership with IMG College and RadiOhio. The 10-year deal is worth nearly $128 million, with $110 million guaranteed. The deal is believed to be the largest such agreement in college sports.

Currently, IMG manages Ohio State’s publishing rights and RadiOhio administers the Buckeyes’ radio rights. The new deal, effective July 1, gives IMG College and RadiOhio the management and marketing responsibilities for all publishing, radio game play-by-play and coaches shows, live and delayed television (except broadcasts covered by Big Ten Conference or NCAA contracts). The agreement also includes corporate sponsorships, signage, on-site marketing opportunities and coaches’ endorsements. IMG will assume about $18 million in production, payroll, tickets and other expenses.

“We are extremely pleased to partner with IMG and look forward to a long-lasting venture,” said Athletics Director Gene Smith. “This arrangement helps to ensure the long-term financial stability of Ohio State athletics by continuing to fund our 36-sport program.”
