Fox Sports Net will broadcast at least 91 Southeastern Conference athletics events, including seven exclusive SEC football games, beginning in 2009-10.

The regional network signed a multi-year television rights agreement with ESPN. ESPN secured the broadcast rights to SEC content last year. FSN’s three regional networks in SEC territory (Fox Sports South, Sun Sports and FOX Sports Southwest) will broadcast:

  • Seven live, exclusive football games
  • 20 men’s basketball games
  • 24 women’s basketball games (16 regular season, eight tournament)
  • 16 baseball games (10 regular season, eight tournament)
  • 24 additional Olympic sport events

The agreement is an expansion of the FSN partnership with the SEC that dates back to 1991. FSN has won numerous Emmy awards for SEC coverage.
