The Big 12 Conference, Sun Belt Conference and Conference USA have announced agreements with bowl games through 2013.

The Big 12 entered into agreements with the Dallas Football Classic and Eagle Bank Bowl for the 2010-13 seasons. A Big 12 team will play in the Dallas Football Classic in 2010 and 2012 and the Eagle Bank Bowl in 2013. The conference will provide a team to either bowl in 2011 if the conferences and institutions under contract are unable to supply an opponent. In 2011, the Dallas Football Classic will host the Big Ten Conference and Conference USA, and the Eagle Bank Bowl (played in Washington, D.C.) will match an Atlantic Coast Conference Team with Navy.

The R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl extended contracts with both Conference USA and the Sun Belt by four years, securing both conferences a berth in the game through 2013. The Sun Belt Conference champion has played in the New Orleans Bowl since 2001, and Conference USA became a partner in 2002.
